Wow! Christmas is nearly here! The performance for the old people today was great- can't believe how well everyone is singing! It was lovely seeing Mrs Cooper and Flynn today, and Lily thoroughly enjoyed the performance.....let's hope tomorrow's show is as good as todays was. cheeky

Summer's here.....isn't it?

Hello everyone! Well my "hooverable grass" is getting there....I am confident that by the end of the month we wil be able to take the Vax out and make sure that the blades of (fake) grass are all going in the correct direction! Stella dog is concerneed that half the lawn has disappeared and is not convinced that plastic sheets are the right thing for running on......and I can  confirm my neighbours all want to take a "sneaky peek." Will let you know how it all goes this week!

The snow cometh....

Well. It's March, and by my reckoning that should mean Easter eggs, lambs and daffodils. As I type something seems awry as we have more snow as an alternative. All I can say is that the birds seem very pleased to have bird food to chomp on and maybe I should keep out the Ugg boots for a little longer. Last weeks Believe and Achieve was fab with many people commenting on the lovely manners and general fab behaviour of all our children. They were a credit to the school - the bricklayer is going to come back and build something outside with you all and we hope to get some trips organised to Sunderland University. All good stuff. Thank you to the parents and careers  who supported us again - hope yu enjoyed the day too. Why not post a comment on the blog or. Gust book? See you in April Mrs W

Hello there! Well January has been and gone, the snow came and went and .....ohoh! Mrs Lakey is back from swimming with her lovely class. Well St Francis' school was rocking on the 6th February when we had Star Radio in school for a Media Day! It was fab, and everyone had a great time....Y6 spent the afternoon developing ideas for our very own "podcast" which will be broadcast on this website in the next couple of weeks. Should be great! The half term holidays are nearly here- why not blog me and tell me about all the great things you are going to be doing then?

Take care

Well, it's Friday and it's very cold outside. Even the birds have decided to curl up their toes and have a bit of a "winter's nap" It's very noisy in the office at the moment as the builders are busy putting in new toilets.....the lino looks grand but I must say I am finding it hard to believe that we are going to fit the same number of toilets back into the space that there is (it looks very small in there) I wonder if it will really snow? It's funny that when you are old(er) than other people snow doesn't seem like quite such a nice thing any more. And I wish I could understand why people want to go skiing! Have a good weekend and well...enjoy playing in the snow! Try this link to see snow in Teesdale
